This notice explains how Better Home Water handles enquiries, browsing and links to other websites.

Contact enquiries

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, enquiry type, message and any page address you choose to include. We use these details to respond, consider corrections and maintain the publication. We do not use enquiry details for marketing.

Submissions are saved in an access-controlled Cloudflare database with an EU jurisdiction setting before an inbox notification is sent. Notifications and direct emails are delivered to our private Google-hosted inbox. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated submissions; this involves sending technical information to Cloudflare. Read Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.

We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to handle the message, keep a record of material corrections and meet applicable obligations. To ask about your information or request a correction or deletion, email [email protected].

Browsing this site

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Requests to view its pages necessarily share connection information, such as an IP address, with the hosting service. Display and body fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google to request the font files.

Website statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits and page-loading performance. Your browser sends page and performance information to Cloudflare for these statistics. Cloudflare describes the service as using neither cookies nor local storage to collect usage metrics, and not using visitor fingerprinting for analytics. Cloudflare also states that it does not track individuals across its customers’ websites.

Analytics is separate from the connection information processed when Cloudflare hosts the website. Read Cloudflare’s data-collection information for more detail.

Product images and retailer links

Product images load from Amazon's image service after our site requests authorised image URLs. Your browser therefore connects to Amazon to display those images. Following a retailer link takes you to that retailer's website and its own privacy and cookie policies apply. Affiliate links include this publication's tracking identifier.

Personal enquiries

Use our contact page for editorial enquiries. For a water-supply concern or product fault, contact the relevant supplier or manufacturer directly. Read the cookie information and affiliate disclosure.
